Bill Potts

Bill is Ben's father; he also has two daughters, a lovely wife, three grandchildren and a kayak.

Bill is a 5th Generation Viticulturalist. Bill has a real passion for the vineyard, which runs deep through his veins and borders on obsessive. He and his forefathers have been growing high quality fruit in Langhorne Creek since 1850. It was Bill's great, great, great, great grandfather who began the historic Bleasdale vineyards. The Potts family also holds a share in a Marlborough vineyard in New Zealand.

Bill is driven to producing the highest quality fruit whilst ensuring the sustainability of the industry for future generations. Water conservation and Mother Nature motivate him.

If some one needs a hand or some advice Bill is always there to help out. Often giving up hours in a day to help some one out in their vineyard, or research vital information for them. What does he expect in return? Nothing, that's just what mates do.

It's Bill's goal to help out many of his mates as possible through the Gipsie Jack label.
