Shiraz

The most common thread between the Gipsie Jack's ever increasing family is their passion for Langhorne Creek.  Not only for the superior quality grapes grown in and around this majestic little town.  John Glaetzer has made many an award winning wine and collected several trophies from the wines crafted from fruit grown in this region.  Bill's family settled here in 1850 as pioneers of the wine industry that supports many of us today.  Langhorne Creek is somewhat of an undiscovered secret.

The sense of community and mateship runs deep in Langhorne Creek and because of this John and Bill hope to be able to help out as many of their mates as possible through the Gipsie Jack Label.

This shiraz is made to drink now, capture its freshness next time you get together with family and friends.

Several secret parcels of fruit were selected by John and Bill, secret little tastings took place, days, weeks and months passed until finally we saw several little sample bottles, (not the ones with yellow lids).

John and Ben went into hiding, blending away a parcel from here with a parcel from there.  A dash more of this a drop of that…………….Finally we got to taste it.  Mm mmm!  You will be surprised at the freshness.

Tasting notes

Youthful, polished aromas of intense rich berry fruits with attractive subtle spice characters.

On the palate you will encounter a burst of berry fruits balanced with soft tannins that make it perfect for drinking now.

A must with your next barbeque or antipasto platter.
