The Top Dogs

In 2005 two varieties presented exceptional characteristics in our vineyard. So outstanding were the parcels we created two new wines just for them. The wines are made in very small quantities.

Gipsie Jack Malbec

In the Potts Vineyard there is a very small patch of hand tended Malbec. Malbec is a traditional Bordeaux variety that has been primarily used for blending. Langhorne Creek provides the perfect climate for Malbec to shine.

Less than 100 dozen are bottled each vintage.

Gipsie Jack Petit Verdot

Like the Malbec we have a small patch of hand tended split trellised Petit Verdot which consistently produces outstanding expressive Petit Verdot.
